Particle Health CEO Troy Bannister to Take the Stage at HLTH 2022 to Lead Discussion on Delivering Simple and Secure Access to Actionable Healthcare Data

WHO: Particle Health, a developer-friendly API platform for bi-directional healthcare data exchange, will be exhibiting at HLTH 2022 with CEO Troy Bannister set to also take the stage for a real-world health data use case panel discussion. Over the past five years, HLTH has become the preeminent event in the healthcare industry that brings together the entire health ecosystem, focused on health innovation and transformation.

WHAT: Particle Health team members, including Troy, will be in the UCSF Health Hub Pavilion booth #1158-30 to discuss the organization’s work shaping the new standard for healthcare data exchange with its user-friendly API platform. In addition, Particle Health will be participating in the following HLTH onsite activities:

• Troy will be taking part in the panel discussion “Healthcare Data: No Buzzwords Edition,” on the Disco Stage on November 13 from 3:30-4:10 PM PST. The session will explore the current state of healthcare interoperability and will go in-depth on health data use cases. With the sheer quantity of health-related apps built on top of data from a variety of clinical and non-clinical sources, the amount of data at hand is astounding. Through the Information Blocking Rule that went into effect on October 6, patients are now empowered with the ability to secure and monetize their own health data. The session will explore how new insights can be gleaned from this data and applied to treating and diagnosing disease sooner.

Moderating the conversation will be Andrea Fletcher, Executive Director of the Digital Service at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Joining Troy as speakers will be Aashima Gupta, Global Director, Healthcare Solutions, Google, Dr. Arif Nathoo, CEO, Komodo Health, and Najat Khan, Chief Data Science Officer, Janssen Research & Development.

• Named as a finalist for the 2022 UCSF Digital Health Awards, Particle Health is also in the running to win the Rising Star, New EHR Innovation category. The awards program recognizes outstanding technologies and innovations that are dramatically transforming healthcare. Winners will be announced at the November 14 grand finale event during the HLTH conference.
